$33.00 will buy you a life-sized cardboard cutout of Taylor Lautner or Robert Pattinson from Nordstrom department store's "New Moon" shop. Who wouldn't want a life-size picture of Taytay or RPattz in their living room? But what else can you do with it besides letting it collect dust in the corner? Here are a couple of ideas.
Ryan Seacrest reads excepts of "New Moon" to Taylor and Rob while on-air.
The latest issue of OK Magazine for the week of October 26, has an article about the rumored romance between "Twilight" hunk Taylor Lautner and "Love Story" songstress Taylor Swift. They claim that Taylor and Taylor are "more than just good friends."
OK Magazine asked Taylor Lautner Daily what we thought about a possible romance between the two. Check out the magazine scans to see what we said!
Do you think Taylor L. and Taylor S. make a good couple?
Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson were each given their own cover for Seventeen magazine Mexico. Taylor dishes on the first time he met his celebrity crush Megan Fox.
Seventeen: You’re such a heartbreaker. Who’s your celebrity crush?
Taylor:Megan Fox. I met her at the Kids Choice Awards and her publicist came up to me and said, ‘Do you want to meet Megan Fox?’ I was like ‘Sure!!’ And then I didn’t have much to talk to her about, that was the problem.
Fans who love Rob will need to visit Twilight Poison to see Rob's version of the cover.
Taylor Lautner shares the cover with "New Moon" co-star Robert Pattinson for the French magazine ONE. Here is an excerpt of Taylor's interview.
ONE: Both of you have very devoted fans. But have they become too intrusive?
Taylor: I believe that Robert and I have very different experiences concerning our relationship with the fans. As far as I’m concerned, I still credit them with Twilight. Without their support, the producers would have without a doubt replaced me for the role of Jacob after the first film.
ONE: Taylor, you hated the wig that you had to wear in the first film. And yet, it’s still present in the second!
Taylor: Unfortunately I still had to wear the cursed wig in the first part of the film. Even so I have to admit that it is more realistic and makes my head itch less than the first one did. At the beginning of New Moon, we see Jacob as we’ve always known him, friendly, nice, and a little clumsy. But when Jacob transforms physically and truly becomes a werewolf, I finally wear short hair. I don’t believe that Jacob would have been able to seduce Bella with that horrible wig! [laughs]
Do you think Bella could be seduced by long-haired Jacob? Seriously, who's paying attention to his hair when he's half-naked throughout the movie!
Guess who's a winner? Our cutie Taylor Lautner, of course! He won Breakout Performance-Male at this year's Scream Awards, filmed yesterday at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.
Taylor was supposed to present a new "New Moon" clip, but the audience was shown footage that has already been seen. Socialite Life suspects that Summit Entertainment is keeping the world premiere clip under wraps until the award show airs on TV on Tuesday, October 27 (on Spike TV). This makes complete sense to me, especially since the last trailer leaked early.
Taylor Lautner goes shirtless (just the way we like him) for GQ Magazine's November 2009 issue.
Chances are you never saw Twilight, because chances are you’re not a 15-year-old girl (or her mom). But here’s the thing about the blockbuster and its sequel, New Moon—and for that matter, all the yet-to-come films in the teen-vampire series: They feature Taylor Lautner, a 17-year-old kid who is one of the luckiest actors in Hollywood. Two years ago, he was an unknown with credits in flicks like Cheaper by the Dozen 2. But then he landed a small part in Twilight, a movie based on a book he’d never heard of. He had four scenes, a few lines in each, and looked like a scrawny kid in a big movie.
Then something happened that Lautner didn’t see coming. He nearly lost his job. The studio didn’t believe he had the stones (or the bulk) to play a convincing boy-turned-werewolf-turned-romantic-lead in the sequel. “They needed to understand he had that aggression,” says director Chris Weitz (who, by the way, made a film you did see, About a Boy). So Lautner hit the gym, hard, eating every two hours, packing on thirty pounds. “I tried to stay focused on the things I could control,” he says. Well done.
Lautner kept his job, and the film’s entire marketing campaign was built around his new abs. “When a man transforms into a wolf,” Lautner clarifies, “all of his clothes get shredded. When he comes back to human form, he’s wearing ripped jeans, and that’s about it. It’s the way it was written. The great thing about this series is we stay true to the books.” Ah, to be 17.
Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift (aka Taylor Squared) spent some time together in Chicago the day after her concert on October 10, 2009
Lautner flew into Chitown with his father and spent two nights at the same hotel as Swift. He was given a tour of the windy city and then taken to the Allstate Arena to watch her sold out performance. At the end of her concert, Taylor gives Taylor a very long hug!
Here's another high quality New Moon movie still featuring Jacob, Bella and Edward in the Forks high school parking lot. I also added one with Bella with the wolf pack, even though Taylor isn't in it. We don't mind looking at a few extra shirtless men, right?
