Taylor Lautner Fan Encoutner: MTV Video Music Awards '09

A big Taylor Lautner and Jacob Black fan managed to snag a prime spot on red carpet this past Sunday at the MTV Video Music Awards! Amy, along with 10 of her friends, caught the 5 a.m. train from New Jersey with the hope of seeing Taylor face to face. They arrived in New York City by 6:30 a.m. and began the long 12 hour wait. Here is the story she shared with Taylor Lautner Daily.

We got to Radio City about 6:30 am. There were already a few groups hanging out, and we found our "Spot" for the festivities and basically only left in small shifts.

By 12 pm it was getting pretty packed, and the cops started barricading us in, so we couldn't even leave in small groups anymore or our prime Red Carpet spots would have been taken in seconds. We actually ordered Pizza and soda's to our "Corner" just so we wouldn't have to leave - we are that dedicated to the celeb sighting! ;)

We were able to see Ashley Greene a few times throughout the day while she was rehearsing, and she waved to us whenever she could get the chance. She such a sweetie!

For most of the day [Ashley] was in Jeans and a T-shirt with her short hair pulled back. I think is was around 5:30pm that she came out dressed in her 1st outfit to take pictures. She is so beautiful in person by the way. Then she left and came back in another outfit, and began getting ready for her Fashion corespondent duties.

I lost all sense of time once the Celeb's started arriving on the carpet at around 6pm, so I'm not positive what time exactly we finally saw Taylor Lautner, but I think it was pretty close to 8:30pm/8:45pm because it was close to the end of the Pre-Show.

I remember hearing lots of screaming coming from the other side of the Red Carpet, and then heard them announce his arrival over the loud speaker, so I knew that I had to get my heart ready for it to go into overdrive! I could see him in the distance but once he came over to talk with Adrienne Bailon we could see him perfectly, and that is when we snapped the two pictures (my friend got them, mine came out fuzzy, booo!).

My friends and I started screaming his name very loudly like the Fangirls we are, which I am not ashamed to admit to at 24 years old! :) Once he was done talking with her he made his way down the rest of the Red Carpet, stopping here and there for pictures and whatnot. The entire time we were still screaming for him, and being the awesomely nice guy that he is, anytime that he didn't have to stop and take a picture or talk with someone he would look back and wave quickly at us! We all melted!

Also can I just add that that boy has the whitest, and most adorable smile in the world! I mean pictures just do not do him justice AT ALL. He has the most amazing teeth and complexion! Not to mention that that suit that he was wearing looked like it was sewn around his muscles to fit him and only him like a cloud of air.

He looked amazing - Chris Hanson is so coming after me for saying all that about a 17 year old, I just know it lol. Anyway, he had to head in pretty quickly, I assume because he was presenting first, but we all gave out one more very loud "TAYLOOOORRRRR!!!" and, I swear, he looked right at me (I was screaming the loudest, I haven't had a voice for three days because of it), smiled and then waved quickly at us all again and headed in. My bestie that was next to me swears he looked at her, but I told her that on her death bed she will finally admit that he was looking at me and only me!! LOL :) Well, that's my story.

We really had a great time, and even though I had to sit or stand for 12+ hours for only about five minutes of Taylor spotting, I would do it all over again, and would have waited even longer!
