Taylor Lautner Talks Dating, Eclipse, and Kanye West
Boxoffice did a great interview with Taylor Lautner, and they asked him some unique questions that I haven't heard before. These interviews can be so repetitive, and I'm happy to read something new!
Here are some interesting tidbits from Taylor's interview.
Boxoffice: What is it like for your family and friends to see people scream at pictures of you topless?
Taylor: [Laughs] It's weird. It's embarrassing for me, and I'm sure it's awkward for all of them.
Boxoffice: Have you gotten teased about it at family dinners?
Taylor: Not yet, and I'm hoping that doesn't happen because I'll start blushing.
Boxoffice: What is your favorite thing to do while shooting a movie?
Taylor: I always carry a football around with me, and there's a lot of people on set between the crew and the cast who like to play, so I'm always throwing the football around and that keeps me entertained.
Boxoffice: Are you romancing the other Taylor, Taylor Swift, in [Valentine's Day]?
Taylor: Yes, in the movie. Which was a lot of fun.
Boxoffice: Did you heart break for her when Kanye jumped in during the video music awards?
Taylor:Yeah. It was...unfortunate.
Boxoffice: What is a movie you love that you're embarrassed to admit?
Taylor: The Notebook. I don't think I should be embarrassed to admit it though—it's a great movie. I'm not embarrassed. I'm saying it proudly.
Boxoffice: Would you ever date a fan?
Taylor: I don't exclude anyone...

I read in an inset of J-14 he auctioned himself off for charity date. How did I miss this!?

I read the entire article and loved it. Finally! A reporter who is asking questions that I would ask Taylor about Jake. The first question posed to Taylor:
Q:If the last two books in the series hadn't already been written, what do you think Jacob should do to win over Bella?
A: "I don't think he would have changed anything, and I don't think he should change anything. Jacob and Edward are extremely different guys and it's just whether you want one guy or another. Jacob is himself, and he has a relationship with Bella that Edward doesn't. And Edward has a relationship with Bella that Jacob doesn't. So I wouldn't change a thing."
That's what I absolutely LOVE about Taylor he knows 'Jake' inside and out; I LOVE how he is loyal to the character and doesn't second guess him. Every time Taylor gives an interview and answers questions specifically about 'Jake' I couldn't agree more with his perspective. As a huge "Team Jacob" fan I can't even begin to tell you how much that means to me.
What I wouldn't give to be at the Lautner dinner table and see him blush should the family ever decide to rib him really good!
New Moon is going to show the world that Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black stands in no one's shadow, least of all Edward Cullen's.

Go easy on R.Patz (Spunk Ransom!) I don't remember him saying he "hated" the character of 'Edward', rather he doesn't 'get' why women are so attracted to 'Edward'. Rob finds him flawed(true), angry(true again), dark, lonely and tortured- doesn't get what women "SEE" in 'Edward'. (In my opinion, things that some, not all, women view as a 'challenge').
IF, R.Patz has stated that he's sick of 'Edward' I take that to mean the CRAZINESS that has become his life as a result of Edward obsessed fans who can't tell the difference between reality and fiction. Let's face it, Rob is a hunted man- no privacy, no down time, nowhere to breathe. When everyone signed on for Twilight they truly had no idea it was going to be such a big thing. They've all said so, so many times...they thought it had a small cult following. Only to discover at Comic-Con 2008 it was a force of its own.
I believe that Rob is dedicated to playing the character of 'Edward'. I've heard and read so many interviews with Rob or Kristen discussing how they would talk for hours about how their characters would interact, etc.
Rob may not "SEE" what women find so interesting about 'Edward' but make no mistake about it, Rob understands what makes 'Edward' tick; he's in the character's head. Rob brings 'Edward' to life just as Taylor channels himself into Jake.
I can't imagine the 'Saga' without him; it would be like Jake not being snarky or having fur! ')
i think i meant what the 'one to watch' is saying rob is embarassed by twilight and cant wait for it to be over yes he might know how to greatly portray edward cullen but so could any other actor what about his performance was so ground breaking?? and i didnt attack his acting i only said that he doesent show as much enthusiasm as taylor- taylor has done alot of interviews for new moon and has always expressed his gratitude at being cast as jacob

I didn't mean to imply that you attacked his acting. I was just commenting on R.Patz not being as dedicated to his role of 'Edward' as Taylor is to being 'Jake'.
Taylor has done A LOT of interviews for New Moon(as R.Patz did for Twilight). I'm pretty sure that this time around R.Patz. stated early on that he would not be doing Press for New Moon;that really seems to be the case.
Besides I think New Moon is Taylor's movie and he's doing all us proud! I firmly stand beside you as a loyal member of Team Jake! ;)
Hahahaha Finally A guy who openly admits to liking the Notebook guys are always watching it with their girls and they always complain how it sucks, yet do you see them chanigng the channel? No because they like it too they just don't admit it! Props to you Tay for being honest.
Umm.. dose that mean he is a player...or he just is not into dating one person...I did like The Note book just not that much i did not cry...did when i watched Marley and Me though...I love that movie!

okay so i think that Rob is loyal to the character (sorry but in the book i am team edward But LIFE WIZE SOOOOOO TEAM TAY TAY)
but i think he is embarrassed by all the paparazzi and fans
like i went to Vancouver and i heard that rob and kristen sent out 3 decoy cars just to have no paparazzi following them
like i would just not care about the paparazzi
but Taylor just walks around and really doesn't care
he just lets then take their pictures
i mean i no that kristen and Rob want some privacy but still

I have fallen in love with the whole Twilight Saga. I only wish Taylor was 30 year older or I was 30 years younger. I think Taylor looks so good with his long hair to bad it was a wig, but he also looks great with short hair. If i had to choose between Edward and Jacob, it would be Jacob. I plan on going to the Twilight convention in July of 2010 in Indianapolis In. Hope he is there.

That and you must remember he was told to break it off with Gomez for fear impressionable movie ticket buyers would resent that their fantasy was now taken and boycot New moon. So intern it might also be true he is just saying what he wants you to hear.
