Update 09/04/09: "New Moon" Premiere Knoxville
For those of you who are wondering what's happening with the "New Moon" premiere in Knoxville, Tennessee, I have a bit of new information. Unfortunately there isn't a lot to report, but here is what I know.
- For security reasons, camping for tickets will probably NOT be allowed at Pinnacle.
- In the next week or two, the director of Variety is hoping to release ticket information, a date for the Knoxville premiere and the names of the Twilight cast members who will be attending.
- This isn't THE premiere. There will most likely be a premiere in London and/or Los Angeles and/or New York.
- A majority of the tickets will be available to sponsors. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor you may call Variety of Eastern Tennessee at 865-925-9906 or visit their website at www.varietytn.org.

Yep. I think so! Not confirmed obviously, but most likely in LA or NYC.
Does anyone know when tickets for the Knox. premiere tickets will go on sale? I really need to get 2 tickets as soon as possible...
Tickets are selling from Regal for $1000 for 2 tickets...and you pretty much need to know someone at Regal to even get those tickets.

My parents live there and know someone pretty high up at Regal and we still can't get tickets. We're all about giving to charity but 1000$ for 2 tickets?! I better be sitting on Robert Pattinson for that kind of $$$$

There is going to be basically a lottery drawing on Nov. 3.Your name gets picked you have the option to buy 2 tickets for $100 each.
Since when is it going to be $1000? Reports said the most it would be was $100.
There will be a drawing for people to buy tickets for a 100$, however those are limited and if you "know" someone you can purchase the tickets without having to have your name drawn. Those tickets cost 1000$ for 2. We are not going to wait around and see if our name gets drawn...we are just going to pay the 1000$ since it is going to charity. I am a little disappointed that Robert Pattinson will not be there. All you Jacob fans will be happy!
ya... they say the tics will be about 100 each... & the premiere is Nov. 16 in L.A. @ the mann theater. :) Hope i helped :).
They just announced today that the tix for the Knoxville premiere will be available to the public via luck of the draw. You can register at any Regal Cinema on Oct 9 I think and then they will draw to see who gets the 100-200 avialable tickets. I think the drawing is on Nov 3...if you win the draw you have to give them the info of the 2 people who will be attending therefore the tickets cannot be sold. They will be checking ID's at the door. If you win you can buy 2 tickets and they are $100 a piece and the money goes to Variety a childrens charity. Of course Top Notch Regal Employees and Variety sponsers will also have access to tickets...I think at $50 a piece and also the money will go to Variety.
Taylor and Kristin will be the only stars attending in Knoxville. They will walk the red carpet, attend a reception for the people with tix and then everyone will go in to see the movie.
I was told there will also be a premiere in LA the night before the Knoxville one.

The tickets are officially gone, and have been since the drawing Nov. 3, but I know someone considering selling theirs. It's 1000 min. bid for 2 tickets and they may possibly sell three. anyone interested????
