Although I agree he did well.. I don't know how the audience felt. I've heard the audience laugh HARD before, but like.. for some reason, I don't think my ears heard much from them tonight. I personally felt he did a terrific job, and is way too talented for his own good, aside from being one of the hottest teenagers in the world.. but I feel like at the same time, maybe contrary to what Chris Weitz said, he has been typecasted.. FOR NOW. And until he finishes Twilight and ventures off into other types of roles, he'll be known as "Jacob Black" for awhile. He's definitely got potential as a comedian, which he has proven tonight. But at the same time, I felt he kind of came off as trying a bit TOO hard. I must say.. I have laughed at him more for being himself because he didn't realize he was probably being funny. But nevertheless, he did wonderfully, and it proves he's made for any genre of film. Now as for the beginning, I couldn't help but feel quite jealous over T. Swift. I realize it's a script, but DAMN she's lucky. And boy was that one hot beginning.. LOVED the extreme martial arts stuff he did. And I got quite warm in the face when I thought he was actually going to kiss the life-sized cutout of Taylor. UGH. Why can't she just suck and have a lame personality? No wonder why he likes her! :p
in my opinion, it was the material he was given and not him himself. he did the best with what he was given. i thought he did great. the opening monologue and the twilight spoof were the funniest i thought. the other skits themselves were crap and had nothing to do with our boy.
haha, alright, alright. nevertheless, he surprised me. i was a bit nervous for him.. but he really gave his all. ;)
i was nervous for him too. i wanted him to do well. and he did. :) i feel protective of this kid for whatever reason. he seems to genuinely appreciate what is given to him, and works really hard to get where he is. he seems like a really good guy.
idk after I watched that show I'm pretty sure him and Taylor are friends.. he said " no I can't my heart belongs to another," and you know that's his mom ahaha lol
anon: haha. i took that more as a play on new moon, when he goes to kiss bella but then there's a vampire in her house so she runs out of the truck. lol
that line should've been.. "no i can't, my heart belongs to OTHERS.." such as us, his fans. :p eheheheh.
And yes, those ARE really hot photo bumpers. I drooled every time one of them came on. *sigh*

Oh yeah, and my favorite thing he said when he first walked on the stage: "I remember when SNL first started. I was -18 at the time. I said to all the babies in heaven, 'just you wait, because one day, I'm gonna host that show'." I loved him, he was so hilarious! I especially loved the backflip and the karate moves he did! I wish teach me how to do those moves. Tee hee!

Ok. So i agree with TLD.. I had tears in my eyes but i wasn't laughing like hysterically. I DID almost fall off the couch when he was doing the choir skit. OMG 'Sinta Claus get doooown... Sinta Claus get dooown' Holy crap his accent!? But yeah hahahaha from beginning to end, i had a huge smile on my face. The moment he first walked down the stairs, there was a smile continuously growing on my face. I just couldn't help it! Ok so his martial arts in the beginning super impressed me! I mean, we've all seen him do stuff like that b4.. but when he was like 10! So it was nice to see him do it now.. ya know? And for the team edward/team jacob skit. Good gawd he was working those fake boobies of his!! LMAO He was not the prettiest girl ever... haha but he did a great job! Poor kid, he had to wear so many wigs! His favorite huh lol. Well i thought he did a great job, i think this was good for him.. Comedy is not his calling, but a good experience =) We love you Taylor! Good job!! <33
I totally agree that it was nice to see him do martial arts at 17 and not 10 years old. He still has some skills!
Ok ok ok! i forgot! haha in the team edward/team jacob skit, When Taylor was err kissing his notebook... Oh gawd i couldn't look!! LMAO 'Notebooks are for writing.. Not for kissing' Lmfao... His girlie slash high pitched voice worked there hahaha
