MSN's TwiSuperfan paid a visit to the "New Moon" set and got the latest scoop from hunk Taylor Lautner. This interview reveals coveted Taylor deets, such as how much time he spends shirtless in "New Moon," his diet and exercise program, and why he feels bad for his character Jacob Black.

What percentage of time would you say you spend shirtless?



I’d say the same as the books. I’m not going to give you a specific percent, but the great things about this series, and the movies, is we stay true to the books. So if you read the books, you know what the movie’s going to look like. [This means Taylor is shirtless A LOT!]

Was [the physical transformation] harder or easier than you thought it would be?

The actual getting into the gym and working out process was easier, but the eating was harder. Because I had to eat, and everyone’s like “Are you kidding me? I’d love to eat like that!” I had to eat every two hours. At one point, my trainer said, “Put anything in your mouth. Go to McDonald’s, get the biggest shake possible, I just need to get calories in you.” Because my body fat at the time was only, like, seven and a half percent.Read more

Taylor Lautner, 17, who plays Jacob, hasn't experienced exactly the same sort of frenzy, but with his character moving to the forefront of the action in "New Moon," he soon might. Rachelle Lefevre was recently interviewed by the London Free Press and reveals her thoughts on Taylor Lautner's 30 lb. physical transformation.

"The day Twilight wrapped, even before we knew there was going to be New Moon, Taylor started working out like an animal. He put on 30 pounds of muscle... I saw some of his dailies and he has a presence that, if you were to watch Twilight and New Moon back to back, he looks like he's aged five years."Read more

TL Daily was interviewed by the Knoxville News-Sentinal, for their upcoming story about Twilight fans and their reaction to "New Moon" premiering in Knoxville. For me personally, the news was quite unexpected. I assumed it would take place in Los Angeles, just like it did last year.

There also seems to be a little confusion about whether "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" will have more than one "premiere." Last year Twilight had fundraiser premieres and THE premiere in Los Angeles. The writer said he will try to clear this up in his next article.

In regards to the date of the premiere and the stars attending, nothing has been confirmed. TL Daily called Variety - The Children's Charity of Eastern Tennessee and learned that they hope to finalize the details in the next 30-60 days. Variety is also trying to come up with a package so that devoted Twilight fans will have the ability to buy tickets.

Just Jared Jr. has confirmed that Taylor Lautner will be presenting at this year's Teen Choice Awards!

It's not too late to buy your ticket to the Jonas Brothers' hosted event. Ticket prices range from $100 - $1000, depending on the seat location. Since Twilight tops the list of award nominations this year, Rob Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and the rest of the Twi-crew will probably be there.
